Coming up on 2 years at my current house and 3 different setups I have finally begun my permanent fishroom/garage setup. My new acrylic tanks are complete and awaiting a delivery date. The tanks will be 72"L x 36"W x 24"H, black back and sides. My garage (an a frustrated wife) have been waiting for this day for a while since I've had the garage floor epoxy coated and my walls thatched and bamboo trimmed.

These are the first of three racks I had custom built for my new aquariums. These are 72"L x 36"W x 40"H..... 2" box steel frame. You will notice that the front of the stands are missing a center support. That was done on purpose "in case" I decide to put another large tank underneath (probably a 180g). The front top horizontal beam is of a thicker gauge metal to carry the weight of the tank.

Might as well order right now the tanks for the underside of the racks...you'll get them anyway ( we all do ) and when its crammed its more difficult to do it...do it from the onset. You knw you'll do it hehhheheheheh

Thanks dude.... I do like the Robotech/Macross theme too. (Lisa Hayes was hot!) Not sure how it blends in with the "Brokeback Mountain" autographed photos and ***less chaps you have decorating the walls!
