NEW MONSTER SPINY EEL

pick this guy up from the lfs very happy with him 10/11 inches but very thick. Much more mass than my other simular sized spiny eels.

still have not positively identified this guy yet , moved him from my 125 gallon eel and marble goby tank to my 40 breeder gudgeon tank . Really like this guy in this set up better, he is much more active in the 40.

Looks almost like a cross between a peacock and a half banded, I’m not quite good enough to give a positive ID from those videos unfortunately. But the “eye marks” on the tail definitely say peacock to me.

Look up mekong eel or red fin zebra eel. That's wat those are. I have one he's pretty chill and not really shy. Always begging for food

these eels get along very well with the purple spot gobys.
