New motaguense (1")

Clearly they can't be sexed at this size lol, just wanted to post a fuzzy pic of it. Bought it for $25.00 (which I know is overpriced) but when you want something, price doesn't really matter. It was labeled as a RTM so it'll be interesting to find out its colors. I'm hoping it's a female for its beauty, it was the smallest one in the tank so we'll find out I guess lol. When I picked it up yesterday it was getting bullies by a 3" one so i picked this one. It's already showing some fin colors so that's cool lol.

I'm really looking forward to raising this lil fella, I own a managuense I bought at this size that is now 13" so I'm excited to raise this one. End game plan would be to buy a 500 gal and put at least one of each parachromis in it. Not sure how well it would work out with a dovii though.. I'll probably get that one last XD

lol in my 21 years of existence and 10 years of loving fish I've never seen one at my lfs. They just built a new one in my area and they got all the nice fish to make them stand out, they've got these, some viejas of some sort, some arowanas and stingrays.. It's a pretty neat place. lol everything is really expensive though.

Very nice. I just got a Pair of RTM a little bit bigger then what youve got right now. Mine are already starting to show some of that nice color red in there. I got 2 in hopes to end up with a nice male for my big tank it will be going into with some other friends. I will get some pictures posted. I think mine are around 2 to 2.5 inches now. Hungry little guys!!

Why not join the Ohio Cichlid Association? You may get your hands a larger variety of cichlids from local Ohio breeders at a cheaper price.
