New Nandus Nandus leaf fish

Got a Nandus Nandus Leaf fish today, don't know much about the specious have him in one of my bigger tanks, want any type of information on the specious I can get including what I should be feeding it, at the pet store they were feeding him flakes, i fed everything blood worms before I got into bed tonight, he looked like he was interested but didn't eat but it's also his first day in a tank. Will take any info I can get

Mine had gotten 6in. Couldn’t break them off of live foods. They like being in groups. No aggressive fish. No specific water requirements. If it’s taking flakes then might be able to wean it onto pellets or cut up tilapia. Which can be done and I did to another group I had a while ago.

Feed live foods, live bloodworms, crickets, guppies etc.

Will eat smaller fish

I really miss my two I used to have. Great fish.
They ate only live food at first, they had a planted 60gal to themselves.
It was very cool to watch them hunt when you put a school of smaller tetras in.
After a couple of weeks they took to eating small cut up pieces of fish (hake,tilapia etc). Never dried foods or any type pellets.

Note: if the piece of fish fell to the floor they wouldn’t eat it.. it had to be hanging or floating in the water coloum and they would strike at it.
