DSC05210.JPGDSC05226.JPGDSC05223.JPGDSC05227.JPGI recently bought a 72bowfront for my bigger yellow perch and white sucker. i used sand and rocks i collected from the lake. also some driftwood i bought. i want to keep it very natural looking. i've attached some photos of my 56gallon which show my baby yellow perch and older. and lots of pictures of my new 72. the 72 was just planted today but it will grow in very soon i hope. my filteration on my 56 is a ac70 and fluval304. the 72 has 2 emperor400 with filterfloss and biomax. i'd love to hear your feedback.

Nice tanks!

I have always wanted to setup a tank very similar to this with the plantings! I'm excited to see how this will turn out!

i've got an amazing peice of wood i pulled from the lake but im debating on weather or not to put it in or not. i dont wanna over crowd the tank and make it look complicated. personally my favorite part is the drop off on the right side it adds a lake like look to the tank

UPDATE: The 72 has been up and running for a month and a half now. Current stocklist. 2-Yellow Perch 1-white sucker 1- spotail shiner 3- pumkinseed sunfish 1-black crappie 2-fathead minnows (there was 4....) the tank is fully planted now with camboba (green and red) dwarf grasses, some native plants i collected and a water lily pad. I will update photos tomorrow

Yep, ill eventually have to get a bigger tank but most of the fish still remain quite small. the white sucker is only 3" long. the 2 Yellow perch are getting big but are still only about 4" the 3 sunfish are only within the 2"-4" range and the black crappie is pushing 5". i've got 2 emperor 400's on it and a dual sponge filter. haven't had issues with fighting or any water problems yet. i'll get those photos on later today
