Okay so I have an empty 75 gallon long tank and I am thinking about putting some native fish in it. I put some big and small rocks in it and a nice piece of wood and I am planning on putting in a few small sunny s and maybe a small bass or two and if I find a really small chain pike I am thinking about putting him in here too then putting him in the pond when he grows. What do you guys think?

I would skip bass. Most will outgrow the tank and pretty aggressive

I am planning on having some good aggression in there

I don't how you can suggest bluegill when you can have this :

thanks nick
thank god this is a car forum
and this tank is gonna be coldwater and there are gonna be no africans in it so a bass would do fine. Plus all the fish in hopatcong are gonna die cause theyre draining it for dock repairs then putting the water back in and stocking it with pike for ice fishing. look on the site.

i have heard mixed reviews on people keeping pickerel with sunnys...
but i think pickerel are awesome so i encourage it, just be careful with the sunfish or maybe skip them :)

and if you have a pond for them to grow into i think you could do 2-3 small bass for a year or so
