New nic dovii not eating....

hi everyone i jus got a nicaraguan dovii about 4 inches from rapps and he or she isnt really eating ... ive had it for about 4 or 5 days and ive only see it eat a tiny bit and i saw it spit up cichlid gold.... so i dont know. do u think i should jus let the fish be and get used to the tank still or do you think there is a problem? most of all the new fish i ever got have eatin within a day or 2 ... so help me out

check the poop if its a stringy white,it could be internal parasites....u could get parasite clear from jungle or even try epson salt for bloat its a natural laxitiv to help with constipation...

it's not uncommon for dovii to take a little time to adjust to their new surroundings. no worries..

I'd try some frozen bloodworms myself and if still no luck I'd get some feeders. Perhaps elevate the tank temp to low 80's and add aquarium salt
