Not sure if this is the right place to post this but one of my colleagues and I are hoping to setup a colwater aquarium in the office at work (Coldwater just so its cheaper). Just wondering if anyone could suggest some nice coldwaters, rather than the standard goldfish. The tank's going to be about 20 gallon!! Will post pics when it's set up :nilly:

Cheers

How bout a Beta and a school of Cory Cat's?

A Dojo Loach is pretty active too , but not sure how big they get, my daughter has only had one for a couple months.

add a heater... I'll sell it to you. LOL Im playing but if you do add a heater I have been having success with keeping Betta's together as long is the tank is big enough. I hope that I didnt just put my foot in my mouth and go home and my fish are fighting.

a coldwater 20gal.... get a cray. thats really it... anything else is too big or active for a 20long or needs a special setup.

unless you want something easy to get in the hobby and not something you can go collect yourself, in which case, the betta/cory option sounds good. bronze cories can tolerate some pretty low temps.

a school of zebra danios will do well in an unheated 20 gal

office tank id make it salt non fish keepers tend to like salt better the fresh. get a clownfish or sumthing more $$$ but other ppl wouls enjoy more then a cray fish
or tetras or sumting.
