A couple of days ago I took my whisper 3 off of my 75 and replaced it with a AC110. I used the whisper to seed a 30 gal breeder tank. All went well until I went into the basement to check on the breeders and the whisper was not pumping.
So here are the symptoms.
The impeller is turning
no water is comming up the syphon tube
There is some diatom growth in the unit itself but I cleaned most of it.
I took the impeller appart and cleaned a few strands of filter floss off of it.
I can't figure out why its not lifting water. It worked for a good 24 hours before crapping out. Anyone have any ideas?
