Been in the hobby for a few years, I've had my fair share of big and little tanks and learned at least a little from each one, I'm a big fan of diy filtation solutions and generally simple tank mechanics. Ofcourse my interest in big predators is probably what you all are probably more interested in hearing about.
I've currently only got one large tank running, it's a 150 FOWLR system housing a 10" imperator angel, 7" sailfin tang, 3' fimbriated(yellowhead) moray, a large pink/black chocolate chip star, and a 5" radiata urchin.
I've also recently gotten involved with a project trying to breed G. aristocratia land crabs in a small paludarium system. They are hardly monsters and barely predatory, but they're damn cool.
I have a 125 under construction I'm torn on what to keep in it.. I'm deciding between a fahaka, dats, or a pair of big CA cichlids, but that's another thread really.
Anyway, I hope to get to know the crowd around here soon.
