New optics for my deer gun

My scope just came in the mail today, and did some test-fitting of it on my gun. The scope is of great quality and has amazingly clear glass. Still gotta sight it in and do some test firing. I also did some heat stippling on the checkering with a soldering gun. grip is a lot better now and definitely more "grippy" lol. here's the specs:

- Savage 116, .30-06, stainless finish, left-hand bolt
- Nikon Monarch 3-12x42, BDC reticle
- Leupold bases/rings
- Remington sling
- DIY heat stippling checkering

Now its time to go find Bambi

haha yup she sure is! thats why i got synthetic/stainless so i dont have to worry about ruining a walnut/blued finish. this gun will be put to work

what caliber is it? I have a daisy pellet rifle, it may be small, but it raises hell.

but the only thing I hunt are cans XD
