was wondering if anyone else has gotten fish through them and what your experience was like. there shipping rates were alot more reasonable than most considering having to ship to Ak. I ordered 3 cichlids and 3 plecos
they are all goin into my 125 w/ some bala sharks, tinfoil barbs, and 4 clown loach. they upgraded the EBJD from 1.5-2 to 3" hopefully they lil guy makes it i've heard they are prone to dieing whithin the first few weeks or so.....any tips on helping him out so he makes it??? i plan on drip aclimating them, i just did a 30% wc today and vacuumed the gravel, and i plan on adding more benificial bacteria when i add the fish to keep the ammonia from spiking......so what do ya think i also will try to add a Gold Saum/Green Terror....i want all the fish to be juvies whem i add them so they will hopefully be more tollerent of one another. I have a large peice of drift wood in the tank already and several lil caves i'm planning on gettin a clay pot to place in the tank also. feed back is appreciated thanks

So all you Flowerhorn guys out there have you ever heard of a Platinum Gold??? i've searched them and don't get much feedback. I hope it turns out like this one from the site.

a platinum gold FH just sounds like it will be something along the lines of a jin kang or a faded zz.
 
Hello,

If I am not mistaken, the Frontosa is an African Cichlid. From the little I know about Africans, I think they prefer hard water. Unlike SA/CA cichlids like Flowerhorns or EBJD that prefer soft water.
 
you're right on the Front, i forgot to add i only put him on the order so the shipping would be a bit cheaper. he is goin in my friends 90gal, but he may have to spend a day or so in mine untill my friend gets his equipment up and running. he is the only guy i know that keeps africans everyone else i know has bettas or fickin goldfish!!!! i HATE GOLD FISH!!!!! they are so dumb and pointless if you ask me......koi are diff i like a nice koi pond.
 
Please let us know how your fish come in.

I've read some bad stuff about that website on a few different forums. I'm hoping it works out for you and you get good fish.

ive seen a few posts also about bad experiences from them. im pretty sure a few i read on here actually, so i would do a search and see what you come up with.

next time, ask if a site or vendor is reliable BEFORE you go and give them your money ;)
 
well just got me fish in today.......2days late, the Gold nugget didn't make it. and of coarse that keith guy is sayin it's my fault and i'm tryin to be deceitful psssh. anyway the rest look ok i got them in a 10gal quarenteened off. will get some pics soon. oh and hahaha he didn't send them in pickle jars i thought they were packed ok he had heat packs that were still warm and he double bagged the fish and put these blue collars around the bag so they can't see eachother....other than the late shipment and losin one i'm not to upset but i just hope the ebjd makes it. he is actin ok so far will keep ya updated....still i kinda regret going through this punk @$$

well he is jewing me, told me to buy my fish elsewhere i told him he is a scam artist and should be taken out back and offed!!! man what a shilok!!! oh well guess that's what happens......damnit and the GN was the one i was lookin forward to getting guess i will have to go try to order one through the LFS. skirmish you ever change your mind bout your GN you let me know......btw how big is he gettin to be?? any pics ttly. once again STAY AWAY FROM KEITH TITUS AT SOMETHINGSPHISHY.COM COMPLETE JERK TO DEAL W/

sorry you were another of the d-bags victims. like i said, i knew i had read some bad garbage about that site, and apparently it was so. sorry ya hadda lose your hard earned cash man

i would highly suggest using MFK for anything from now on. if you cant find it locally thru a member, theres plenty of high-class vendors on here that care as much about their customers as they do money, which is the way a good business man works. since you kinda need #1 to make #2 :)
