New orino pack!

I just moved these guys into another tank today so they are a little stressed. Eating hikari gold sinking mini pellets. I picked up these 8 from another mfk member. Ive never had a chance at growing orino's yet. A couple have a little red on their tale. Is this normal or did I get a couple non oriono's? I sure hope not!

A month or so ago there was this big thing about that Stevenrox guy trying to pass these fish as orinos...used another user name to sell them (nobody bit it though)...and he posted a few post about wanting to buy orinos when he did have those fish in his hand. Do a search on this guy you'll see. They night have closed the thread down though.
 
Nice pbass, but I'd hate to be the bearer of bad news but the majority of those fish don't look like orinos. :(

They look like either ocells or monos. :(

I really hope he didn't charge you much for those cichla. You would think he'd know they weren't orinos now that they are of this size and the traits are more apparent.

Agreed, I don't see any Orinos in the pics you posted. That whole thing with Stevenrox was F**KED UP! That guy is a scammer and a bad scammer at that. It looks like you got all ocells/monos, I'm curious as to what he charged you for them.
 
ya im thinking this too. I paid a decent amount...$25 each. I looked at his threads and didnt see anyone saying they werent orino's. That is quite spendy because i could have ordered them form rich at 15 each and shipping. I could have had 2 more and paid less. Cause i paid for gas too. WTF!

Good thing I didnt meet him at his house. Id be there now w/ these wanting my money back. Thanks for being a POS! And making me warry of purchases through other members. Ban him!

And now that im really looking at them I dont think any are orino's. Tempted to feed them to my mono's.
