so i picked up a couple orinos that are both about 3 inches maybe 4 anyway they both have developed a white mark on the very tip of there lower jaw anyone have any idea what this could be? Also these guys shouls be eatin like pigs least thats what my monos did and these guys are not like that at all any tips on what to do as far as feeding?

usually thats from hitting the gravel while sweeping up food at such speed. Its kind of a sore but will gradually fade away or harden like a planters wart. No need to worry unless it gets infected

could also be from a little stressen rubbing the glass i have had that a couple times any other fish with them that could be stressing them ???you eluded that they are not eating alot that could also be from stress.... if p's are not comfortable they do not eat well.....

the temp is 83-85 there eatin but not like the monos did they swim up and take a guppy down butt my monos like any disturbance on the surface there striking the top and makin a mess

How long have you had them? Tankmates? I'd say as well the bump on their lip could be from rubbing on the glass

Give them some time to get settled in. When I got my orinos they were shy at first, then they eventually got used to me and their new environment. Now they come to the surface and compete for food just like all of my other bass.
