i finally got my hands on a different species not a mono lol snatched him up for 40 bucks prolly a lil under 4 inches or so i tried puttin him in my 220 with 2 other larger pbass and the smaller of the two larger bass decided to be an ******* and attack the new orino the smaller is about 7 inches and the larger is 8 1/2 ish so i pulled the orino out and put him in a smaller "growout" i guess but he isnt eatin not even feeders so will he start eatin?? the water is perfect parmeters temp is 76-78 i no thats low but i cant afford a new heater cause i wasnt expecting to A. get the lil guy B. have to move him into the smaller tank C. post this lol, so bout how long will it be till he eats and any recommendations on what to power feed this guy so i can get him in the big tank??

It dependa mite be hrs, a day or two..give him so time thoigh hes even more stressed by being beat up..if the new guy was half the size of the others whyd u bother putting him in? They arent like datnoids. Surprised he didnt get eaten lol. For food u cud try shrimp pellets but if u really want to beef him up fast.....feeders are the key

thats the thing i didnt realize how big my bass were until i put him in and was like um definite prob here that and ive seen a 13 in pbass with a 6 inch and had no probs so i assumed i was in the clear:/ lesson learned for sure

Pbass will almost always attack a new tankmate being introduced to their tank....no matter how big. YOu better go get another heater before you lose that little guy because he needs to be at 86-87 degrees. If you dont you will probably lose him. Go get a heater!

FOr food try market shrimp(raw), fish filets, silver sides. If not then try some live tubifex/black worms.
