I picked up a gorgeous new Ornate Bichir today. It's about 10" and I got it for $49.99 u.s. I think that's about average what do you guys think? I have it with a 10" Silver Arowana, a 6" Red Tail Catfish and two 4" Oscars. The oscars will be the first to go as they all grow. I used them to cycle the tank and they are becoming massive food hogs and begining to bicker with each other. There was three but now that there is two they are showing signs of fighting occasionally. Nothing major just posturing for now but they will be fighting before too long. I will get some pics of hte Ornate once he settles in a bit more. It's funny, he isnt skittish at all, just shy. He swims all over until I walk uip to the tank then he retreats to the back only to come out again once I walk away LOL. Incredible looking fish when he is swimming up in the water column though. Any tips, advice, or suggestions? I've done a little reading and people seem to have good luck with sinking carnivore pellets which I already have. I'm gonna try to find some massivore also.
