I recently lost Lucy, my favorite fish, after keeping her for nine years. She was absolutely beautiful and my wife and I both really cared for her. I hate that I lost her but I do know that she had a great life, at least as great as a fish in captivity can have.

As much as I hate that I lost Lucy it has given me the opportunity to finally keep another Oscar. I haven't kept one in several years since none of my tanks are really Oscar friendly. Anyway, I picked my my new Oscar and I am really looking forward to watching him/her grow.
