Just got a new 9inch Tiger Oscar , rescued him from a small dirty tank , ( i think about 45 - 50Gal along with some other little fish which i am supised diddnt get eaten ) .

Ripped fins but looks great for what tank he came out off . Will be going into my pond when its finished but is currently in one of my 120Gals with few other largeish fish .

I know i hould have got him as i havnt really got the space in the tank for him but if i hadnt got him , he would off just been killed the owner said . He said that he was a great little fish but got REALLY BIG and hasnt got a place for him to go . So before he did kill the Oscar i said ill have him . Couldnt let a fish like this get killed because the owner is stupid enough to buy him when he was about 3inch and then not get a tank large enough for him to be happy in when he gets bigger .

get hopping on that pond! fish looks excellent

O yep , sheds up ! Insultaing it tomorrow and then i have to save a couple more weeks and i can get the wood for the framing of the pond .

Thanks , he's still sulking tho . Hopfully in the next of days he'll be ok .

he will be great in no time... glad you got him!!:D

hes a good looking fish-just needs to regrow the ends of his tail and fin. he should look great here in about a month or so! great find!

Hope so . Nice colour i think considing what tank he was in , the torn fins are a down side but like you say in a month or two he'll be looking great .

He certainly looks nice enough.

If you remember that oscar i got as a rescue job i pulled him round a 6x2x2 hes now in the pond. Hes loving all the space. Better than the 4x12x12 he came from.

Yep i remeber .

My Oscar is starting to move about more , less sulking and no aggresstion from him or the others :D .
