well i was out looking for a nice size fish for the new 90 and stopped by lfs and made a new friend, He has been very active since i brought him home. Wasn't shy and had no problems eating! He is about 8"long. I was torn between this one and a smaller albino. This tiger doesn't have much of a pattern and his upper half has a light blue so i picked him hehe. The tank is a lil dirty i still haven't cleaned the glass. On a side note this is actual my first post here. Ive been hiding! This 90 is the 4th tank i have added and prolly not the last lol

beautiful oscar

any tank shots?

here some i quickly pulled off my camera. One of the reason I wanted this house was in the basement, there was a nice open spot for a fish tank. One day I'll build a tank for it. The 90 looks tiny from the back. The front opening is about a inch short on both side and about 2 feet taller. So we took some black felt and made a quick drop down.

The first is after we got the tank mounted and started filling it. You can see the sliding door behind the tank

Pair of red tailed tin Foils i picked up to before the oscar about 4" (above)You can also see one of my 55. It has a baby snapper about 3" Will be a while before he goes to the pond we are planing for this spring.

if all goes well someday Id like to put a 500+ gal tank in this spot and move the 90up stairs. I think the pond will come first tho.

You can't go wrong with an Oscar IMO! Great looking guy you've got and I'm so glad to see you didn't stuff him in a 30 g tank :-))
