`my baby oscar i jus bought doesnt move much and jus sits on the bottom of the tank most of the time, is he sick? or is that natural

It's totally natural. They like to sulk, give him a few days and he will come around. How big is he? What size tank you got him in for now?

30 gallon hes as big as a nickel

That 30 gallon might look enormous with that little fish in it right now, but give it a few months.

Oscars grow terribly fast and require at least 55 gallon setups, and that's the bare minimum.

double check u'r parameters just in case something is wrong. but yeah they do lurk often.

i took him back he was a diff color then the other oscars and he wasnt eating im not going to buy fish from petco again

How long did you have him? I had mine for at about 4 days before he would venture to the top to eat. O's like to pout and sulk.

When my mate gave me his O it went of food for a few days, it was in the same tank, same setup, same fish, same water but just didn't want to eat. Just layed on the bottom sulking. Now he's fine, grumpy, but fine.
