new outdoor pond

Hello this is my new toy I'm thinking of doing SA/CA cichlids not sure on the stock when i figure out the amount of gallons ill decide on it. My questions today are will a pool filter be good filtration or do i need something else? Do you guys know of a color paint the is safe for fish? i would like to do a darker blue. Thank you!

That pool is super cool!
I believe they make pool specifically for paint which I believe is inert once dried.
How do you plan to combat green water?

yea it came with it and i plan on adding a uv sterilizer
