i'm excited :woot:

i've been hooked on them since seeing a few of dieselmack's videos on youtube
but none of the LFS's around here ever had them in stock, so i went to a place here last week and had one specially ordered, and went to pick it up last night

it's about 4 inches right now, and im not so sure what type it is, im thinking mono, but i'd like some expert opinions

Little guy has some good potential. Congrats on the new pick up, there is no feeling like getting that fish you have been wanting for so many months, or years, or even decades.
 
thanks, i've always wanted one, maybe for about 4 years now, but i never really had the tank space, or size..i was hooked when i saw dieselmacks on youtube, i thought to myself, oh god, i NEED to have one of these guys in my tank, that was a few months ago

so yeah, its a great feeling :D


hopefully he'll grow into a nice sized adult without many problems, i cant wait to see what he'll look like in a few months

and my apologies for the horrible pictures, lol..my camera just doesn't seem to want to work right anymore..
 
Sweet bro:headbang2 nice lil monoculus....now the addiction begins:D keep that temp high between 84-86 and the water clean and he will rocket with regular feeding;) monocs look super once they get past 12" and just get better and better with coloration...they also have great personality. congrats
