New pair of lapradei!

Its good to have friends in the hobby. I went to my friend Jon Chus pad today to trade some fish for these laps.

I am really excited to see them settle in!

13" and 14" and a spotted friend tagged along.

After getting them in the tank, I noticed a few characteristics that makes me believe these two laps may have been two I sold a year ago when I shut down my 150g bichir tank.

If that's the case, they will be stunners once they settle in, and will make it 3 bichirs I have back from that collection: My Bichir collection from March 2012

Wow the pbb and kolo are gorgeous. Your new laps look sort of like platinum with the light contrast. I am glad they went to you. I was tempted to pick these up too.

Thanks bro, theyre settling in nicely. Im enjoying the fake platinum look and my girl really likes that color too. I just hope i can grow them out to be 20"+ beasts like the lap you got back. Is it colored up yet?

mayb some day we can own a platinum endli I hope you get these to grow. I rarely see giant laps. My lap didn't color up. :-( I think I have to do the tile bottom.

You need to hurry up about that tile bottom. I don't know if that lap will return to it's potential without it. Same with the pbb
