don't really know what I'm going to do with the hybrd fry. I've got extra sponge filters and enough air to run them but I don't have any heaters or a free growout tank.

I have a small heater that works you can have. Just depends on what size the tank is... I tried it in a 55g and it would only take it up to about 76 maxed out.

The Barred Midas are basadd!! grrr... want one.. so bad.. sniff sniff...

Thanks for offering. Not to sound like a fish snob or anything but I only trust 2-3 brands of heaters. Let me know what it is. I've had problems with big fish shattering heaters and cooking fish with junk heaters. The fish above is a amphilophus saggitae not a barred midas but those things are getting huge now.

sooo.
i take it he was fertile?
did they eat the eggs/fry?

BUMP

there wasn't that many eggs and most of them fungused over. I don't think any of them hatched. Even if they did there wouldn't have been enough for the parents to even bother raising. These females are so fertile though there will probably be new eggs any day.
