so i was examining some new feces from today to see how my fish is doing and discovered something new on the scope. Note sure what it is and unfortunately I can't take a picture but I can do my best to describe it and maybe someone might be able to help get my in the right direction.

it has a slug like body shape, not long like a worm or anything.
on the backside (butt) it has like earwig pincers or something. or like 2 pointy things in a Y shape
it doesn't dart around and can be seen at 40x mag but its fairly small.

any ideas? I know this is vague info but its hard to describe. I fully don't expect much but thought I would throw it out there. I will be doing a lot of digging online to see what I can come up with.

Like this. The mouth aka front of the little thing almost looked like it was a grinding thing. It easily chews through stuff.

In the one poop sample I saw 3 of them total. All of them were outside of the poop not in it. But right on the edge.

I should note I don't know when he pooped but forsure it's from today. I wonder if it could be something in the water as opposed to inside him.

What kind of fish is the host and what you feed it?

Green terror.

Nls, northfin, hikari. No frozen foods, some pea rarely. Used to have some live red wigglers that I raised, but no longer feed these. 90% pellet meals.

I am not sure he is the host. I only found 3 and none of them was actually in the poop but on the slide just outside of it.

On the other poop sample I found none. Nothing at all.

He did have capillaries worms and eggs. I treated with levamisole just recently (first round). He has no living larva or worms or eggs that I can see now. I. Doing the retreat ment in 3 weeks though.

I will keep checking his feces every now and then to see what I can find.

I have no clue what those creatures are but at least we can rule them out as being transferred by feeder fish.

I've looked all over and have yet to find out what they could be. The drawing was a good idea to give a better visual of what to look for.

Yeah me neither. Something tells me it could be an aquatic creature but I'm not sure if it's harmful to fish. I will have to spend some time digging around the net longer.

But Kai is doing so much better in the past 24 hours. But obviously will be keeping a close eye on things.
