usually I don't like parrots but I was trying to spend my trade in credit and I've never seen a parrot with this much potential before. I think it's a male unfortunately but I will test it's fertility eventually. What do you guys think?

i'd actually say female on this one. even though the tube comes to a point, it looks more like a girl to me. parrots tend to be a little different in my experience, it's got darker color and more rounded fins. give it time though.

either way, nice parrot! :)

thanks for the advice, I value your input. I hope it is a female. It looked like a male from what I saw of it's vent but it's still young so time will tell. About 2.5"TL possibly 3". I'm going to see how he acts around a male convict the same size, and how he acts around a female convict the same size. I figure that will be a easy way to determine the sex and fertility of it.

most definitely. good luck either way. and merry christmas!

Not a fan of parrots but if it is a female it will make a good breeder.

Nice color on this one. As you know, they can be tough to sex, especially when small. If it's a female, you'll see eggs eventually. Watch for that fat belly!
