New Payara, ID??

Decided to head up to a fish store I don't usually go to hoping to find a teacup ray or a payara, and what do you know? First time I've ever seen one for sale at a local store, and this guy was only $40! He's about an inch long, put him in a 10g. Gonna setup a 20g long for him next week! Any ideas on what kind he is? Even though he's tiny...

just the opposite for me, used to see Scombs 5-6" at the stores but now all I see is this size or smaller

I started seeing these guys in early Feb. and really small this year - most probably won't make it thru march.

If it were me - I'd dose that tank with cleated cooper immediately as juvie scombs are ick magnets.
