cool, I hope to get some soon also.
Like the folks told me, keep the water temp in the mid to high 80s, and make sure you have good filtration + current. May be a little overkill but I actually just added another Bio Wheel 350 to the opposite side of the tank. The amount of food and waste these fish produce is more than you’d think. My ammonia and nitrite levels went up, the filters were dirty after exactly 2 weeks. So as of now I have (2) 350gph filters, a powerhead rated at 900gph with my water temp currently @ 87 F. You can never be too safe with filtration and current, as these are river fish at heart an need water movement. Start a thread when you get set up, plenty of good opinions from folks on this forum

thanks, can you mix them with other large fish?
To be honest with you I personally wouldn’t, pbass are pretty territorial an have that aggressiveness that almost intimidates most other fish. Again I haven’t and don’t plan too, but I’m sure there are thousands of others who have pbass with other large fish an don’t have any issues. You can give it a shot, but if the other fish are showing signs of stress or even the pbass are getting bullied, you’ll have to make the decision on which one to pull. Good luck!

I've kept them with all kinds of other large, aggressive and semi-aggressive fish, but as said, there is always a risk.

Personally I find that it isn’t a problem keeping them with other large fish as far as aggression goes they really only care about each other and keeping their dominance with each other. The problem is when it comes to feeding time. Other fish usually don’t stand a chance at getting to the food. The bass are so explosive that other fish won’t get a chance to eat.

Excuse the krill waste on the intake an floating around, they just finished feeding. Added a synthetic blend resin filter media a few weeks back, coming up on filter / media change here soon.
