What kind is this? Someone had kept him in a small tank and brought him in when he was too big. I couldnt resist so I got him and want to fatten him up. He looked pretty unhealthy. But anyway what kind of Cichla is this?

Mine's extremely aggressive and the ruler of the tank.

varies. Mine was pretty aggressive until my smaller orino put him in his place. Now they rarely flare at each other.

This is a good example of one. This is average size in the wild. They grow much larger though. I have seen a picture on here of a friend of a mfker who caught a 40"er, anyone wanna post the pic? I think the anglers name was Teru.
