new pearl fish from rainny betta and my kk from honda237, twenty min in the tank(pearl) it will be a good match I hope. the last pic is older by a few weeks , she is a lot more koky than she looks in the pics.

They both look very nice. I still can't believe that kk turned out to be a female. She developed a kok faster than all my males.
I would still believe she was male if hadn't laid them eggs , I will try to get a good picture because she does have a kok, and her pearls are really begining to shine, really glad you hooked me up.
I cant tell completely but her egg tube is already down and shes been chewing on the back of her rock , I have a clear piece of lexan with 1/4" holes drilled into it for a divider , hes only about 4" shes 3" maybe, it was love at first sight for her
i would give it a shot, it would be better if the male was a little bigger, but once her tubes drop. you need to pull the divider and stand back and keep a close eye on them. She more then likely will get beat up, and will have some torn fins, but put the divider if they are still fightin really bad with in an hour or if they start making big wounds on each other. I pulled the divider, and the lip lock,shes making sure he's good enough! you might see the eggs beneath them.
put the divider back up, i forgot to mention if they eggs are laid, its to late. she is defending the eggs.
yeah , I did , she bullied him a bit ,more like testing him and her lower lip was getting pretty raw but he prevailed, but not in a mean way, just showed he was boss , didn't really go after her at all , mostly defensive , so I think hes cool with her I'm sure at this point they are pretty much a pair, shes happy with him I think cuz she stayed colorful through out no stress bars or getting dark
