New pet! Ring neck pheasant!

So today I went to pick up dove feed at my local farm feed store and saw some ring neck pheasants. Males were $30 and females $25. I swooped on a male and took him home. He is currently in my aviary and is doing well. My dad is a fan of pheasants and always wanted one.

Plans for this fella...
-do a DIY pen.
-get a ring neck hen tomorrow!

Here he is! I took him out of the aviary and put him in a chicken pen.

Haha! Last night when I showed my grandpa my pheasant he was like, "can we eat it please?"

Pretty cool. I use to have about 2 dozen of those. Keep an eye on him. They can be nasty to each other and other birds they're kept with.

Feed him meal worms and loved every single one he ate.
