new petco story

1. not the one my freind runs but onother one here.I was stuck listening to a couple say their bp was not eating and it was in a 10 gallon tank with a heat lamp but the girl says the snake always feels cold.Its a small bp so the tank is kind of ok i guess but i talked them into at least geting the zoo med heat pad.I wont even go into what the worker was saying but heres the best part.We asked how long its been since it ate.! month,the mouse and the snake have been living in the same cold tank for a month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!So many thoughts in my head,but i dont have to share those.lol.So i filled them in.
2. Then,i went to buy my rat and the girl said oh some guy just brought one of these back because his snake wouldnt eat it.Realy,wow,nice way to spread IBD from some guys crappy cage,or not,but infected maybe,back to the store and spread around your rat cage for someone else to buy.Nice huh.Filled them in too.lol

I'm not surprised...it's so sad how many of us have only petco and petsmart to go to. I also have petclub though; they are a bit better, so that's good.

Eh, has nothing to do with petco. Some of them are better and will adopt out any animals returned. But what do you expect from a private shop that hangs onto potential profits a lot stronger?
