Mopre often than not, the male will be the last fish standing on the egg pile. The female will OCCASIONALLY hang out and help raise the kids. He's a great cichlid parent. Never lets e hanging when I want to grab some fry.

This last picture was taken with only the camera flash. The others had an external fill flash.

He is a really beautiful fish too man, you should be very proud! I bet he'd shred the crap out of pretty much any fish that you could put in there! ha ha ha! I hear they are AGGRO parents!
