Finishing off what I shot last night. Here is one half of a breeding pair of Synspilum. This fish is currenly around 8". I have two photos I liked. THey are very similar.
The first was shot with available light and the flash manually cut back by three stops. I have a piece of white tule (the material used to make bridal veils) over the head of the flash to further smooth out the image.
Same as above only no tule and the flash on automatic. Slight difference, but still OK.
One of six F0 Chuco Micropthalmus I have in a 75 gallon tank. I had 13 of them and a couple weeks back split the lot into two tanks. Interesting fish. Looks like one in each tank is much larger and more colorful than the rest (dominant male?)
Largest of the lot.
