new pick and new photos

i went out today to see what was new at the better lfs' in the area. after trying to decide if i wanted to get a shoal of clown loaches or some firemouths to grow out i got myself a 4.5" male jack. i also figured i'd take some pictures of my tex since he was really curious as to what i was doing.

You know you're a geek when you admit you forgot the 'up' haha j/k. I like your tex, my lfs has one but I can't tell if its carpintis or true cyano, its got more black spots on the lateral line but it is white. What do you think?

in all honesty i don't really know how to tell the difference between the two other than carpintis has larger random spots and lines on the face (kind of like a gt) were as cyano's spots will line up (like mine does) and are smaller. i've heard that there are actually several different kinds of cyano/carpintis so i have no idea really.
