New pick up a polleni cichlid

Picked up a polleni cichlid about 3 in and looks awesome. He or she is jet black. Here are some pictures of the polleni cichlid. He or she is still in the bag when I took the picture

Dunno really, I don't really know much about madagascan cichlids at all. XD Only that pollenis look amazing.

I think mine had spots from the earliest....Great fish! Mine is now ~3 years old and is a 8" plump puppy. I believe my avatar is mine when I first got her. Cheers!

Thanks for the info I like how mine looks right now jet black but I was figuring around 5" it would get the spots. It is about 3.5" now

I'm pretty sure i remember my old polleni had spots even when he was only a few inches long...
