New Pick-up: Baby Loach (hes a little bit special)

well, seeing all those pics of clowns got me to thinking....i need some loaches!!!
so i hit up the ususal LFS' today and at my favorite there were a whole bunch of little oddbarred loaches
i only got 1 so far cuz it was a nightmare trying to get oddbarred ones in a school of regulars.....
there were a bunch more, ill get them later, but this one was by far the best lookin one in the group

I had a bunch like that. When they got bigger the bars eventually wrapped around like normal. Needless to say I was a little upset! Nice fish though!

they have a tank full of tiny <1" clowns at my LFS. they're so hard to resist! i can't imagine trying to pick out the misbarred ones.

i needed one to eat the snails, ill get like 4 more or so over the next week, really dont want to spend 3 hours trying to catch the oddbarred ones all at once......i like them, just never got around to picking some up, they were pretty far down on the list.....

tainted glory: its not so much that the bars dont wrap around as it is the extra bar other had bard broken in the middle and a few had spots.....

one loach = bad.

my first ever clown loach, I bought one and it never ate and sort of just withered away.

so a week later, I went to the store and said, "I'll take all of them".

lol

no school of fish is quite as impressive as 50 clown loaches.
