new pick up. help i.d.?

picked this guy up yesterday from a lfs. they got a legit low grade RT about a week ago and sold him pretty quick. he looked pretty decent, nothing super crazy but a RT for sure. i asked them to see if they could get more and this is the guy i ended up with.

doesnt quite look like an RT to me but i figured i'd ask anyways.

also picked up this baby vieja yesterday and was wondering if anyone could id the strain?

bump, any other opinions? i'd say he's definitely not a RT, kinda looks like a red dragon? not really sure at this point haha. here's an updated pic from today.

Looks like flowerhorn Texas mix...aesthetically speaking. The barring looks like my Escondido. And was hoping my fader flowerhorn and Texas could pair but turned out to be both female. Thought the batch could look something like this. Nice looking fish.
