I just picked up a royal clown knife from my LFS he has to be atleast 14" I got it for $25. He has been in there a few days now but is always hiding behind my overflow. Occasionally he comes out but does a U turn and goes straight back behind the overflow.
The fish store had him on feeder goldfish which I am going to try and get him off, I have seen pictures of other peoples RCKs out and swimming about in the daytime and with the tank lights on.
Do they mostly come out at night or when they settle in will they swim around all the time? I would really like to see him swim around he is main fish in the tank.
