New Pick up, Red Texas?

I just got this one today, the LFS took it in as a trade, I think this may be just a low grade fish so my hopes arent really high at this point, I'm just going to see if I can get some color to come out in it, it is a very, very light pink, and the black has not all peeled yet, I'm noy sure of the sex either, pet store owner says he thinks it looks like a female, but not real sure. He was asking $40 and I walked out with it for $25 cash. what do you guys think?

Ok, so I tried to vent this fish, fist time I've ever done it, but from what I've looked at and read on other threads it looks like a female, the vent is larger than the anus and is round.

It's actually really nice with potential, and looks to be a $100-$130 fish if bought retail. Great pick up!

looks like someone splashed ink on it. lol pretty cool fish. give it some chingmix and bloodworms it will bring out the red. great pick up for 25.
