New Pick up: Wide Bar Datnoid?

I picked this guy up from the LFS. I think he is a wide bar? He is like 7-8in. Very stable and outgoing. He has a terrible infection at the bases of his spines and fins possible from beig netted at the wholesaler. I traded him for a couple Electric blue Ali and $30. The pics are the best I could get..... What do you think about treating the infection at the base of the spines?

Looks like you got a Thin Bar aka NTT. Just bump the temp up and add some salt and see how it goes.

Yeah, after some research looks like a thin bar. He has fewer bars than my other Dats and is much more stable. Biggest I have ever seen in the LFS- come to think of hardly ever see them period around here. I cant wait till he heals up so I can put him in the 265.

Love the ntt, like benz said add some salt and bump the temp he'll heal up fast!

Heal it fast 'coz I once had the same thing happen to my NTT and it died.
