After looking around at a few LFS's, I finaly found the fish I want at the price I want. So I picked up 2 Peacock Eels for 5.99 each. I didn't have the tank set up yet so I truw them in with my Silver Dollars until I set it up. The special set up is a 20G with a submersible filter with water filled half way. THis way the eels can't jump out and I can grow them up enough so they don't get sucked into power filters. THeir about 3" long each and I feed them blood worms. Enjoy.;)

I believe their Peacock eels because they have dots on their tails.

I have wread that they can get anywhere from 6-15 inches long.... Both of them will go in my 85G once their big enough. What is the largest type of eel I can get for my 85G? I was looking towards Tire Track but since they get to like 30" I thought they would get to big. Also, can bichirs/rope's and eels live together?

I have 2 fire eels that use to be with bichirs. It works, dont try doing a tire track if you plan on having other eels in the tank they can be bastards. The peacocks usually get 12" max.
