NEW pick-up

[Aro Dat]

So I walked in with my red severum and came out with my brand new amazing... LDA-33!!! was gonna get a goldie pleco but they were all out of the small ones (3" $50) all they had left were the medium ones (4-5" $75) too much $$$ for me so I settled with this guy/gal.

tell me what you think. also realistic planetcatfish says this guy can get up to 9.8". but whats a realistic size in captivity

ya no problem.. its a shame u couldnt get it.. Are u in Socal? I think riverwonders still has them in.. but theirs is a bit too pricy too.. I got my baby goldie for about $35 from snookn...

Anyways.. About lda-33 or L133 as my aqualog book tells me.. They are either a Large or XL type pleco.. meaning 7"-12" They are nice pleco.. veggie eaters and not so much demanding as Goldie..

Curious were u got them..

Nope.. LDA-33 diet doest require meat.. but some plecos eat it anyways.. Same with royals.. They will eat meat if given.. but their main diet is wood.. Its just that high protein isn't that great for plecos who dont need meat as diet....
