He has alot of red in him already that the camera can't pick up. Will be sweet to see it hold as it grows up.

Gonna try to commune him as well. If he turns out like every other jar I have owned it will still be fine by me. Just hoping for a nice one and great colors.

Great looking jar youve picked yourself there plenty of blues and pink spangles already , look forward to updates :cool:

I got this one from betta world in MN. They have them listed on aquabid also.

I'll try to keep this thread like evz jar has his.

I think, well at least for me, jars are making a comeback cause for a while they were hard to get. Then the ones you could get were crazy expensive. I got this guy for $65. They have smaller ones at a few store by me for $80. For this size here they go for $100 normally. The last jar I owned I got for $20, then they shot up in price and I didn't have a tank. $65 is justifiable for me any more is a bit too much, considering they are not a rare or different color morph. The only change for them is the date and the crazy high price. Having said that I was ready to pay $80 as I have wanted one for a while. Lol
 
Thanks. Yeah I am hoping I get a rare nice adult. I have it in a community tank now. If not I'll have a nice big beautiful aro in its own tank. As a younger keeper I couldn't stand 1 fish in a tank. Now as I am older I actually kinda like the ability to focus on one fish in a tank.
