I got a tip from "Angler" that "Golden Fish Aquarium" had some new bichirs in (albino sens, endlis and dels), so I picked up 2 endlis and a del today. I am growing one of the endlis out for him and the others for me (I'm not going to keep them together forever). They are about 2.5-3" and still have their external gills. One of the endlis is pretty skinny. I took a few quick pix but only 1 turned out decent, so here it is. I will try to get some better ones later. I'm so happy I found some more poly. Albino sens just don't do it for me, so I didn't get any.

 Thanks again! Now you gotta fatten those Endlis up!

thanks. I'll get 'em fat. When my 55 opens up, I will probably move all the fish from the 10g into there. The senegal thats in with them eats sinking pellets, so I hope the other polys will follow by example. I'll try to get some better pix.

That delhezi is small but seems to have a nice pattern.
Wish they were avaible around me will have to order one from a lfs around here.:(

If you don't mind me asking how much was the delhezi at that size.

Polys are on the expensive side around here and are hard to find (paid $80 for a 10" lap and $60 for an 8" ornate). The endli were $35 each and the del was $25. The place I got them at said they finally found a distributor that could get them some and they jumped on it. Hopefully, they'll get more species.

Tried to take some more and better pix for Angler, but I failed (one endli and the del won't come out in the open enough or close enough), so here is the best I took of each of the small polys I have. I'll work on getting some more.

Definitely look like some difficult little rascals to get a decent picture of:)

At least they are good enough pics for size reference. I'm looking forward to watching them grow.
