Okay so yesterday I drove 2 hours to pick up what was supposed to be just 2 fish. A RTC and a smaller RTCxTSN. They were housed in a 220g with quite a few other fish. They guy was selling the tank cause he had to and had no place for the fish. Sadly I knew I was pushing it already and couldnt take the other fish (an arowana and pike not sure what else) as they were going to be put in a 55g, if that, he said he might just hook up a filter to the tub they were put in.. It turned out I brought home 4. A florida gar and a pleco also. The redtail is stunted in growth and has gill curl so does the rtcxtsn. So I now have 3 catfish and a gar in a not so big tank. I took down my pond last night so I could build a bigger one. How big do I need to build it for these 4 (including the one I already have and the little baby in another tank). I think the gar will just stay in there once they are moved out. They all lay on top of eachother (even the gar). They swim together and everything. My hybrid I already had laid right on top of them for an hour when they were introduced. But i need to get them into something a lot bigger asap... so if anyone has an idea please help me out.
