Here
recently my betta has calmed down a bit, so I thought I would try getting him some females, and so far they are doing really well together. There are three of them.ImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1382780247.622916.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1382780275.808220.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1382780309.138964.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1382780328.324144.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1382780355.771889.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1382780380.254307.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1382780398.091342.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1382780417.072192.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1382780468.857286.jpgImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1382780489.274893.jpg

How big is the tank pole? What kind of size would be ideal for a single male?

tank is 22 litres, and i find this tank could be a good size, however a minimum would be around 2.2 gallons for me for a single male, like this small plastic Hagen pals penImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1382786717.620052.jpg however like always the bigger the betta( pun intended) pics of the male, Boris:ImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1382786834.300699.jpg This is an old pic. I remember housing a single betta in a 17 gallon tank for a while, as he lived for almost four years, so I believe in a bigger tank they live longer.
