he's about 3 1/2 inches and in a 10g right now. ill probably move him into the 29 once it finishes cycling....

Nice... One of my favorite fishes. Only too bad that I can't keep more than 1 as they'll fight each other all the time. In the long run, you'll need a bigger tank as they will grow pretty big.

thanks... hell probably be living in a 75 for most of his life... i have the tank now, it had my pacu in it, but i just got those out and am in the middle of re-doing it. buying a better stand, aquascaping etc.

I think a 75 would be good for at least a year or two.. I've had my flagtail for about a year and a half and its only grown 2-3".

haha i didn't think i would like him that much but now he is one of my favorite fish!! very cool looking

i don't me to derail mine own thread but today i lost this guy

i planned to grow him out in the 29 with the flagtail. i can't fathom how he possibley got out... oh well.
