New pickup, from craigslist... need ID

So I saw an ad on CL for a 8" black belt cichlid for 10 bucks, no pic provided though. So I called and figured it was worth a look.


So here is my new fish, opinions on what it is?

They do look like Texas though. I can see why the guy would get them mixed up

I can just see you in his house saying "hmm, nice Texas, I guess I will buy him too." All while trying your hardest to supress a huge grin.
