Sounds a bit iffy to be honest; it is a Sun Catfish (Horabagrus brachysoma), which are very common around here. Maybe 3" for 8USD, so I think the trade may have been a little unfair. However, I'm not sure as to how common they are around your area, so it all depends. Either way they are a great species of Catfish to work with; time to fatten him up. lol
